Welcome to the site. Better known as my padded room on the web. I've developed this web site as a stage for my work. I write books and short stories, just in case you were wondering.

It's almost here.
My publisher is putting the finished product through the paces, checking to insure I crossed all the 'T's and dotted all the 'I's'. The publishing wheels are churning and, at this point, we're on time. It looks as if the July/August 2008 time frame is becoming a reality. Unless some unforeseen roadblock rears its ugly head, Born Bent Over: And Flashing the Vertical Smile at Middle-Age will be making its debut on BarnesandNoble.com and Amazon.com. It will also be available through all the standard distribution channels so, should you so desire, you can ask for it at your local bookstore. The smaller stores may have to order it for you but, with any luck, the larger stores will have it on hand.
If you plan on one day reaching forty, if you're in your forties, or beyond your forties and just want a hysterical look back on the trials and tribulations associated with middle-age, you won't want to miss this book.
Middle-age is probably one of the most turbulent phases in the circle of life. The changes, both physical and psychological, make puberty look like a walk in the park. Unfortunately for the poor sap in this book, every possible side effect of middle-age has befallen him in spades. His doctor and nemesis, referred to as the Marquis de Sade for reasons that become very apparent throughout the book, and our hero have a love/hate relationship certain to have you in stitches. This poor guy should be the poster child for surviving, at least so far, the ravages of middle-age.
I'll be posting updates as we get closer to the publication date. In the meantime, keep an eye on the shower drain for those hideous hair monsters. Their coming is usually foretold by the streaks of flesh becoming visible atop your thinning pate. Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated.
