The Paramedic Reviews

"I've read and reviewed a great many erotic romances in my career, but "The Paramedic" truly took me totally by surprise. This story has all the elements necessary to make it erotica, (and then some), but it's the realism of this story and the very authentic characters that sets it apart. I honestly couldn't put this one down. Greenleaf's writing is so smooth and detailed that each character had a face and a personality etched in my mind. I honestly had the feeling that I was right there with Doc and his friends. Keep an eye on the best sellers lists; I'd bet this one makes it to the top. The Paramedic is contemporary erotic romance at its' very essence. Five Stars! Turn up the air conditioning. This book is steaming.

"This was actually an excellent story. The feelings one might have after a divorce; the disappointment in having your spouse not be the person you thought he or she might be, the lack of trust one might develop in the aftermath of such emotional pain. The author writes in a particularly fluid manner; very eloquent, and with lots of humor. But the central core, I felt, of this tale is about a group of friends who care very much for each other, their relationships inside that group (and that includes indulging in some wild hot sex), and the importance of those friends in one's life. Survival has a lot to do with being able to share unhappiness and knowing you have friends who care about your well being. A must for all readers enjoying a good relationship story."
"And a note: It was very interesting reading about just what a Nurse Paramedic does, and the experiences involved, I must add, with some so very sad. Have a box of tissues near at hand. You'll need them more than once." Reviewer: Glenda K. Bauerle from The Romance Studio February 8, 2007 |

"A truly engrossing story of love and hot sex with just a hint of medical fetishism that grabs the reader and locks them in for an unbelievable roller-coaster ride through the trials and tribulations of a totally loveable, extremely believable Paramedic. Greenleaf wrote a winner here, certain to become a best seller. Keep some tissue on the nightstand. This one is a true tear jerker."

Susan M., Peekskill, NY: "I laughed, I cried, and then I cried some more. I couldn't stop reading. Fantastic!"
Daphne L., Avon Lake, OH: "I'm a nurse and couldn't believe the way Mr. Greenleaf kept it real. The story had me in tears. What a great read. I highly recommend it."
Linda J., Lewiston, Montana: "Wow! I never saw the ending coming. The sex was incredible, too!"
H., Allentown, PA: "I was a little thrown off with the slow start, but once the book got started, it was killer. The story was so well developed I could relate to every single one of the characters. I was completely drawn into the plot. Excellent book."
D.K., Brookfield, IL: "From one Paramedic to another, Doc; Aces! I don't usually read erotic romance but I felt I had to given the title. I could have done without the "medical emergency" that brought them together, but everything else was top shelf. I killed a few pixels on my laptop monitor reading."
Rachael, Pawnee City, NE: "I haven't been that engrossed in a book in years. At first, I thought it was going to be another of those bump and grind porn books. The sex was definitely hot, but the story was so believable, the sex fit perfectly. Great job. Highly recommended."
R.D., Cherry Hill, NJ. "My monitor is smoking! I had to have a cigarette after I read this book. The ending was out of this world. Totally blind sided me. What a curve ball. Read this book with a box of tissue by the computer."
Michelle, Cincinnati, OH: "Totally threw me for a loop. Not your average romance read, (although I'm making sure the kids can't read it). The ending floored me."
Shawn, Portland, ME: "At first, you don't know whether to feel sorry for Doc or wish you were in his shoes. Not what I expected, which is what really made this a great read. I'd recommend it to anyone. Keep up the great work."
A.W., Spokane, WA: "Have you got Nancy's number? She was my favorite character. Loved the book."
Allison J., Helena, MT: "I have never read anything that touched me like this book did. I bought it thinking it was an adult book, which it is, but I got so into the people and the realism with which they were portrayed I couldn't stop reading. I was truly touched by this story. A must read."
Megan, Newport, RI: "Please tell me the next book is almost done! I can't imagine it being as awesome as the first, but I'll be the first in line to buy it."
